Google Business Profile Integration

Scale Social (operated by Scale Us Technologies LLP) offers an optional Google Business Profile integration that lets verified business owners and their authorized staff manage their own Google Business Profiles from within our platform.

What this integration does

• Lets a business owner securely connect their own Google Business Profile location(s) using Google OAuth.
• Lets the owner prepare and review posts (text and a single image) for their own verified locations.
• Publishes a post to Google only after the business owner reviews and approves it.
• Lets the owner manage multiple locations they own or are authorized to manage.

All actions are user-initiated

Every post published to a Google Business Profile is reviewed and explicitly approved by the business owner before it is published. Scale Social does not perform automated, bulk, scraping, or unattended posting to Google Business Profiles. Each user connects via Google OAuth and can act only on the locations they own or are authorized to manage.

What Google data we access

• Account and location information (business name, location IDs) so the owner can choose which of their locations to manage.
• Authorization tokens (OAuth access and refresh tokens), stored securely and used only to publish posts the owner has approved.

We request only the business.manage scope, used solely to publish owner-approved posts to the owner's own profiles. We do not sell or share this data with third parties.

Ownership and authorization

You may connect only Google Business Profiles that you own or are authorized to manage. By connecting a profile you confirm you have the right to manage and post to it.

Revoking access and deleting data

You can disconnect a Google Business location at any time from Channels inside Scale Social, which deletes the stored tokens for that location. You may also revoke access from your Google Account's third-party access settings. To delete all of your data, see our Data Deletion Instructions.

Compliance

This integration complies with Google Business Profile API policies, including the requirement that posting actions are initiated by the verified business owner. For questions, contact contact@scaleus.in.
